America’s Best Cleaners Affiliates Take Italy by Storm
October 20th, 2018: America’s Best Cleaners (ABC) is a globally renowned dry cleaning consultant agency, and its affiliates are the best dry cleaners in the world. It only makes sense that they band together and embark on their sixth International Business tour of Europe and their third tour of Italy, from October 7th to the 21st. After all, dry cleaning is a worldwide industry, and ABC is a world class team.
The trip was a bonding experience like no other – the kind America’s Best Cleaners is well known to provide to their affiliates, time and time again. Christopher White and Catherine McCann of ABC and a group of seven affiliates crossed the pond and came back full of new insights and actionable knowledge. The fantastic trip mixed unique and specialized business education programs and also gave affiliates plenty of time to enjoy some Italian flair. All travel and lodging arrangements were first class and comfortable for all, and each participant returned back to the United States fulfilled and ready to take on the world once again.
The group arrived in Milan, Italy on the afternoon of October 9th to check into their top-notch hotel, the Hotel Sanpi Milano, and spent the next several days taking in everything the culture had to offer, including walking tours, parties, and restaurants. The team also embarked on a full day tour of the Zegna Wool Mill, a must-see destination for anyone in the dry cleaning industry and anyone with an interest in the history of the area. Suffice to say, it was fascinating and educational.
Two days later, on October 11th, the ABC team departed for the fabulous Italian Rivera and opted for an all-day private boat tour. To say it blew minds would be to understate the situation. It’s the kind of experience one can only get on a professionally curated tour, and the kind of experience ABC affiliates are assured they’ll get on
Rest? During an America’s Best Cleaners tour? Highly unlikely. The day of October 13th, the group left for Pisa and took in the various sights and sounds, including a certain famous leaning tower. Then, the same day, they left for Florence and checked into the Hotel Embassy, ready to rest up and see what joys the morning held for them. They weren’t disappointed, as Sunday and Monday the group had two entire free days to explore the city of Florence and take a variety of tours.
It was time to dive back in to the dry cleaning side of the trip. On October 16th, the group arrived in Perugia and embarked on what was the most fascinating part of the trip so far – a tour of the Metalprogetti World Headquarters. Metalprogetti, a leading company in the design and manufacture of automated systems for moving and handling garments, are always great hosts, and thus hosted a big group dinner for the ABC group, where friends old and new broke bread and shared stories late into the evening.
As dawn broke on the morning of October 19th, the group departed for Bologna, arriving late. The night’s big event was the Affilate Dinner, hosted by Union, and it would be a night all present would remember for a long time to come. Or at least, until the next Italian excursion.
Up early the next day, ABC and its affilates left for a tour of the FMB World Headquarters. FMB is the largest manufacturer of textile dry-cleaning equipment for use with perchloroethylene and all Class III-A solvents, so the group was able to gain new insights and knowledge unavailable anywhere else.
While a group with less stamina might have taken a day off at this juncture, the ABC team went full throttle for the last few days of their tour. Arriving back in Milan for their final destination of the trip on the morning of October 19th, the group did their best to see anything they didn’t get the chance to during the first days of the trip. The evening was the final Affiliate Dinner, this time hosted by Kreussler Inc, *****.
The final full day of the tour, the group went to the Expo Detergent Center as a group, then spent the rest of the day exploring Milan before returning to the hotel one last time and heading back to America on Sunday, October 21st.
